We spent our Saturday doing one of our favorite things: talking with curious, climate-minded neighbors about what it actually looks like to electrify your home.
As part of Acterra’s East Bay Green@Home Tour, Harvest was proud to be in not one, not two, but three homes across the East Bay—each one offering a different take on all-electric living. From sleek new builds to thoughtfully upgraded classics, every home showed that clean energy can be elegant, practical, and deeply personal.
Guests flowed through kitchens and garages, peeking at induction stoves, heat pump water heaters, solar panels, and—of course—Harvest’s Smart Thermal Battery, quietly working behind the scenes. Homeowners shared what it took to make the switch: how they picked appliances, what rebates made it easier, and why the comfort and savings were worth it.
The people who showed up were just as thoughtful as the homes they toured—asking great questions, swapping notes on contractors, and imagining what an electric future could look like for their own spaces.
A big thank-you to Acterra, the City of Berkeley, and the homeowners who welcomed folks into their homes. Seeing real-life examples of electrification in action is powerful—and this tour made it easy to picture a better energy system, one household at a time.
See you at the next one.
