We all know by now that rebates substantially help the cost of installing heat pumps, and can help democratize access to home electrification. Thankfully, local CCAs (Community Choice Aggregators), and utilities are working to help homeowners electrify with these great incentive offers.
Just recently, three counties in California's Central Coast - San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura - have become eligible for some of the best rebates in the entire country, due to the 3CE, 3C-REN, and FlexMarket agencies.
Harvest has crunched thousands of data points and after incentives, an installation for standard heat pumps + heat pump water heaters come in around $20k.
Now, with these local, state, and federal incentives, Harvest is comes in around $18k out-of-pocket! Less than the other guys who aren't as efficient in reducing emissions, and don't even help save on your utility bills like Harvest does with our smart load-shifting and thermal battery tech. That's right - even with Harvest's high-end components that may result in higher initial quotes, the additional rebates we qualify for are so substantial as to get the final cost lower that non-smart, non-thermal-energy-storing heat pump systems!
YIf you live on the central coast and are looking to take advantage of these time-sensitive rebates, our Territory Manager, Brett Baird, has some great contractor partners in the area ready to assist. We make the process easy, and the contractors help you apply for the maximum rebates your home qualifies for in order to keep costs low.
It's a big decision to start electrifying your home, and can sometimes be a big investment. With these incentives, it's a better time than ever before to finally flip the switch - both figuratively and literally!
